Central / Downtown Fort Myers Real Estate
This section covers Fort Myers' city limits and the nearby vicinity. This includes: 1) Downtown Fort Myers, 2) the upper McGregor Blvd cooridor, and 3) Tice / Morse Shores to the East, off of Palm Beach Blvd. Downtown has seen some notable improvements in recent years and is the site of a number of newer high-rise riverfront condominium towers built between 2004-2006. There’s also a collection of brand new towers that will be breaking ground in 2019+. If high rise living is for you, these make for interesting, rather affordable choices with very impressive views. A word of caution to the boaters though: while all of these waterfront high-rises are indeed Gulf access, what they have for docks, slips and availability varies. If you have any questions, just ask me! Also note: Legacy Harbour Marina offers a very nice, nearby location to keep your vessel.

To the West of Downtown are the palm tree lined streets of the McGregor Blvd cooridor. No canals exist here though, so for gulf access you are talking about direct riverfront homes (and coorisponding price tags) to be a part of this neighborhood. Notable past residents of this section include inventor Thomas Edison and automotive icon Henry Ford. To the East of downtown lies the much more affordable areas of Tice and Morse Shores. Though there is not a lot of canals, those that exist are amongst the lowest priced in the city. Note: If you are unfamiliar with the intricacies of the areas waterways, it is recommended that you review the Southwest Florida area overview here. Also please note: in some of the condos, while listed as gulf access, they may require leasing/purchasing a slip at an additional fee. Feel free to contact me to discuss any of specific interest!

My name is Dan Starowicz and I am a Realtor with Premiere Plus Realty, Co. My main office is located in SE Cape Coral (4020 S. Del Prado Blvd, Suite B-2, Cape Coral, FL 33904), though I have a number of Real Estate offices throughout SW Florida, including in Fort Myers. I specialize in Gulf access, waterfront homes and coastal/island properties near the area’s beaches. As a local resident for the past 33+ years, I can safely say that I know this area quite well and bring my expertise to every transaction. I also enjoy my share of boating in this region, so I can safely advise clients as to the pro’s and con’s of different area waterways, from a boaters perspective.
In addition to being a Realtor, I have a background with years of experience in the mortgage business and as a hands-on Real Estate Investor too. I’ve personally bought bank owned property, imminent foreclosures, short-sale property, auctioned properties and estate sale homes. I am experienced in handling transactions involving 1031 exchanges, estate sales, trusts, self directed IRA purchases, foreclosures, short sales and many others too.
This particular website is one in which I’ve personally designed myself in an effort to give the public the best possible source to learn about the area and to have the most comprehensive information and real time search capabilities as possible. It may not have the prettiest pictures or the flashiest format, but the substance should all be superior. Because I assemble this site bit by bit in my spare time, you might run into the occasional error. As far as other sites go: It’s my opinion far too many use the same cookie-cutter formats, which don’t do you any real good.
