This South section of the city includes the majority of the sought after waterfront in Fort Myers, due to it's superior Gulf access location versus Central and East Fort Myers further up river location. As far as pricing goes: note that gulf access homes here cost notably more than an equivalent home in Cape Coral due to the limited number of waterways on the Fort Myers side of the river (but they are indeed more valuable). Also please note: some gulf access options exist where you would keep the boat down at the community marina, instead of directly behind your home. Slips may be included, or available seperately from the sale. Because of this, some options that would afford you this kind of access may not be listed as gulf access (since they don't include a slip) but may work for your needs. My name is Dan Starowicz and I am a Realtor with Premiere Plus Realty, Co.  My main office is located in SE Cape Coral (4020 S.
